Are there little slots on the back that I could slide onto screws to mount it vertically?

Yes. On mine there are two screw holes (5/16 inch diameter), aligned vertically so that when its mounted, the cable holders are on top and the power cord is on bottom. My version does not have the coaxial ports, so its slightly different from the one pictured.
