Not my weekend either...Update 10/11/2017 7:58:36 PM

Pros: Just wanted to update my review from the other day. The new monitor did not come in from BenQ on Saturday as promised by Robert. Because of the circumstances of the IMA/RMA, there was no shipping info to check where the new monitor was at. However, the new monitor did get here today on Monday around noon and from Fed EX.

The box was marked for a Saturday next day delivery but Fed Ex dropped the ball and didn't deliver it to me on Saturday, nor could I track it on their website. I was told no package was set up to be shipped to me.

I have to say after getting the monitor today, even though I was not happy about getting it on Saturday as promised, Robert did all he could do to ensure it was shipped and as next day as promised. After hooking it up and firing it up, everything seems to be working as it should and the monitor is stunning! I have owned a Apple HD 30" that had 2650x1600 and loved it, but this monitor has it beat hands down. One of the nicest monitors I have ever owned to date. I am coming off a Hanns-G 30" 1920x1200 that was bought of the the Egg and around 4 years old.

Cons: As for the defective monitor, I had it boxed up Saturday to be picked up when the new got here. I took it back out of the box once the new one didn't show and tried to hook the DVI cable back up to it and it was a no go. If you plan on running Display port with this and your card, make sure you card has a normal display port or a mini to normal display cord or you will have to use DVI or HMDI.

After messing with the defective monitor and plugging a HDMI cable into it I was able to get the native Res of 2560x1440P to work, but the monitor still had some issues for a brief minute or two of fuzzy lines coming off my Icons and on the screen but it went away and didn't come back. I ran the defective monitor for about 14 hours straight and did some gaming on it. The blacks were really black and I had to make some adjustments and put it on the user profile to fix the colors. But even with the defective monitor after messing with the settings and on a HDMI it looked very nice! It's just sucks it was defective, but it happens.

Overall Review: I had my doubts on Saturday about BenQ as a company that honors their word and stands behind their product but that doubt has gone away after the Fed Ex truck showed up today with the new one. After hooking it up I am very pleased with this monitor so far and have to say thanks to BenQ and Robert Hill once again for taking care of this issue much faster then Newegg offered to resolve it.

I would recommend this monitor for sure, and am a happy 1st time customer of BenQ for sure.

Update: 10/11/17 I have been running this monitor and no issues after getting the bad one replaced. Not sure who some of the other buyers dealt with, but BenQ's service was great with my issues. Very happy with my monitor and their service.

Great monitor for video editing 4/12/2017 11:48:35 AM

Pros: -Great Image Quality
-Easy to use menu
-Built in USB3.0 hub and SD reader (great if you have a new macbook pro)
-Great stand (good adjust-ability and very solid)
-Good build quality (looks good and feels well made)

Cons: -Expensive (but a good value when you realize what you are getting)

Overall Review: I am a media professional and I use this monitor to edit video in Premiere pro cc as well as with the rest of the CC programs. The extra size and resolution means that you get a very pleasing pixel pitch while still being able to show a lot on screen. 4k 27" monitors have tiny text and the 32" 4k monitors are very expensive. I feel like this size and resolution is the perfect compromise.

Awesome Gigantic Monitor! 3/28/2017 10:19:00 AM

Pros: 1440p at a size and pixel density where you won't need to scale and can take full advantage of the added screen real estate (Windows scaling is a mixed bag); great color, viewing angles, and deep blacks (thanks to a VA panel); responsive enough that it will work just fine for gaming; all of the inputs you would ever need (DP, DVI, VGA, HDMI); built in speakers

Cons: It's huge! (also a pro); Make sure you have a big desk!

Overall Review: I like this more than the 27" 1440p IPS monitors I've tried. The pixel density on those was borderline too high, and I'm not a fan of the scaling in Windows. Those also seem to be riddled with stuck pixel and backlight bleed issues, but this VA panel was perfect.

Very nice monitor 3/27/2017 2:49:14 PM

Pros: - Nice size 32" screen
- resolution is great. (2k)
- Refresh is sufficient for me
- sufficient for 1080p games

Cons: I don't have any

Overall Review: I excepted this monitor for what it is and did not compare it to a high end 144Hz monitor. I wanted more desk space so I wall mounted it eye centered and all worked well.

Exceeds expectations 3/25/2017 11:49:06 AM

Pros: I have had this for about 3 months and am using it as my primary display. It came with no dead pixels and the display in terms of color accuracy, evenness of illumination, and viewing angle is excellent. It has the feel of a very high end piece of equipment (base is substantial, tilt and swivel work smoothly) without the high end price. I also note that the built in speakers while not a substitute for my Audioengine A2's are good enough that you don't have to have secondary speakers. I will probably buy another one.

Cons: No real cons, but keep in mind that it's BIG. If you want something to fit on a small workstation, look elsewhere. Also its not a QHD display. That is its 1440 x 2560 not 2160 x 3840. However, the native resolution provides a lot of useful screen real estate.

Fantastic monitor, perfect stop gap before I jump to 4k with adaptive sync technology. 2/14/2017 12:45:57 AM

Pros: - Vibrant Color (10-bit 1 billion colors)
- 32in
- 2k (Lots of screen real estate)
- Lots of easy to use options
- Plenty of inputs
- 92 PPI (Makes text easier to read without scaling)
- Quality build, especially the stand and arm!

Cons: - Input lag is not as good as a TN but that's to be excepted with VA and IPS panels.
- No adaptive sync technology
- Not the best gaming monitor, but more than adequate. See below

Overall Review: I decided to replace my aging 10 year old 28in Hanspree monitor. After a few weeks of research I decided that this was the monitor I wanted, plus the fact It was on sale for $370 was too enticing to pass up. For me this monitor is perfect for my needs. I have a GTX 970 and 4k would be too much for that card to handle. I also wanted a Gsync monitor but those are still expensive and they don't seem to have any in the 32in range. I've played Doom and Fallout 4 on it and I didn't notice any ghosting or problems with input lag, however I am just a casual gamer, so your mileage may very. For gaming its best to put AMA to "High" in settings. I calibrated my monitor with the follow settings...

Picture Mode - User
Brightness - 88
Contrast - 45
Sharpness - 4
Gamma - 1
Color Temp - User
RGB - Red 100, Green 98, Blue 98

Good monitor with a design flaws and worst customer service 2/5/2017 7:03:35 PM

Pros: - It has good screen. Color is good and has decent viewing angle. I was worried its response time, but it is good enough to me.

Cons: - Its display port has some flaws. You can search this issue on google, then you will find one movie in Youtube. The issue is that a computer gets wake up from its sleep, the display port can't recognize it, while showing the message, "No signal detected". Even though you turn on/off the monitor, it is still the same and monitor can't detect the signal. To fix this issue, you have to power off/on the monitor (actual power off/on, not turn off/on). Then, it works again. But this is very annoying. I didn't have this issue on other monitors, but only this one.
- I already contacted BenQ customer service 3 times, but they still can't recognize what the problem is. It seems that they even don't want to listen to me. They give me some solutions, but they are totally useless. They simply assume me that I know nothing in computers and try to teach me how to connect monitors on Windows 10. This kind of behavior is very annoying. By the way, I am programming for 20 years now and have advanced degrees in CS/ECE major.

Overall Review: It is totally up to you. If you can deal with the display port issue and useless customer service, I think it is worth to purchase. Otherwise, try other monitors.

Has No One Else Overclocked Theirs? 1/12/2017 10:05:45 PM

Pros: The display is fantastic, I don't want to elaborate on that. My message to you, is overclock this thing. Using CRU I was able to get this screen from 60Hz to 76Hz. It's extremely easy to do. I have an RX 480 paired with it, and I've read that it prefers AMD GPUs. At least CRU does anyway.

Cons: I don't care for the DP connection being on the side. That's what everyone should be using, and I just think it looks wonky.
