So as I understand it there big 4 pin adapters that hook to the power supply; little 3 pin adapters that connect to a controller or the power supply and then there are little 4 pin adapters that cpu coolers use that I've been told allows better regulation and feedback. So I have a new mb that has 4 pin adapters for everything and I'd like some pretty blue case fans with 4 pin adapters that allow my mb to regulate the fans with the fourth pin. Will this product do that? Does 4 wire mean that?

The 4 pin connector will allow the Mother Board to regulate the fan speed as needed. I have 4 of these and they work great.You may want a pwm splitter if your MB doesnt offer fan control features. The pwm splitter will duplicate and regulate all attached fans to the cpu fan demands.

Does this fan really output 110cfm at 2000rpm, and at 37dba? There are no other fans out there that advertise such high cfm with relatively low rpm and dba.

It would be really difficult for a typical user to measure the CFM accurately, but it does pump some serious air. I don't typically find this company to be very dependable, but this fan is a quality product.
