It's working fine for me. I'm running Open Media Vault, a Debian Linux based NAS operating system, and I have a 4 port IOCREST SATA pci express card installed so I can have 4 dedicated storage drives. The system drive is plugged into the motherboard sata. Hope that helps.

well I have this mobo running 90w power supply from Antec ISK 110 VESA case. Dunno if you need the fans (or maybe just 1) cuz it doesn't seem to generate that much heat but I guess I never really checked. I only have SSD hooked up to it. A review mention he had his in a minibox with 80w psu and mobo drew 15w.  mini box feels a little bit more cramped than the antec I used so must not generate that much heat.

I run Ubuntu 10.04 desktop on mine as a server with no issue, if that helps. Later versions should include the same hardware compatibility, though I haven't tested it myself

Hi, I installed my DDR3 2GB memory to MB, but slot1 not working, slot2 works fine, I have requested a replacement (same problem as slot 1 not working), I noticed this MB needs DDR3L, is it so important? can I use DDR3 for this MB?

MEM 4G|TEAM TED34096M1333HC9 R 1 (look into this but with the memory requirements that you desire)

This memory worked fine for me.  There is a priority for memory install but the manual from the motherboard(though limited) explains this.

Did you check you BIOS rev.?? .... Mine was up to date.

I might be mistaken with this motherboard but I think dual-channel is not supported.

As far as DDR3L is concerned it should not be an issue.  Just a suggestion.  The DDR  memory type is usually backwards compatible and has been since it's conception.

Aside from your question I am really surprised that you had a memory issue at all with this board.  If you tried other memory or have updated the BIOS and are still having issues;  I'd suggest a return too Newegg or a DAUNTING RMA procedure with Biostar..

I'm not really sure, i never checked. But I am using a Coolmax 150WATT Pico PSU not even 80+ with 3 80mm fans /w green LED's, 120 ssd, 2tb hhd, and DVD-RW drive. It dosent have any problems with power. Its my steam box, for game streaming from my main rig and for playing emu's.

I want to replace an old MB into a tower i have.  this tower is a inexpensive one it had a gigabyte socket Lg 775 micro axt MB. will this fit in a tower since its mini?  also i have a nvidia 8500 gts video card this should work with the PCI 16 ext for added video.  I want to dual boot windows 10 and ubuntu with this tower will this motherboard work fine?

Most towers have multiple motherboard support posts that can accommodate Mini ITX boards. Everything should mount in the new tower just fine.

I'm assuming your old motherboard had duel-core processor, so this board will perform better with the quad processor. and your video card.

I'm sure you already know that you will have to install a new copy of  Windows 10. The license for Windows 10 is not transferable from one motherboard to another.
