Hi this be OK for a front fan for BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case? And specifically will I need to remove my DVD drive for it too fit? Thank you.

This fits perfectly in the front. And, you won't need to remove your DVD drive for it to fit. On the other hand, if you were to install a fan on the top right above the DVD drive, you would then need to remove the drive completely for the top fan to fit. But the front facing fan has no issues there.
