Can I use this fan as a replacement for the original 230mm fans in my HAF Cooler Master case?

It depends on the case dimensions.  It'll fit most cases with a little bit of jerry-rigging, but the real problem I found was the really THICK dimensions of the fan.  It had a nasty habit of hitting cables and nearly touching the video card and being difficult to work with.  My HAF case has an extended side slot so it would fit no problem, just having to mess with the connections because 230mm is an odd size these days.

how does this compare to Rosewill's Thor V2 230mm stock fan?

I would take the bitfenix any day it's got great air flow and a very sterdy structure. The L.E.D.s are definitely bright. I have zero tolerance for crappy quality fans and this fan is very sound to quality. 5 stars and a high recommendation for this fan.

Will this work in the Rosewill Thor V2? I know the case has 3 in it. I was just wanting to replace with a better fan.

Sorry, no idea.  All I can tell you is that if a 200mm will fit, than the 230 will if it has extra space above and below, the sides are cut so that it won't take up more room width-wise
