Is this type of fan ok to be mounted on the top exhaust of the case?

It did not fit inside my HAF 912, but with that case I could mount it outside.

I am wondering if this fan will fit on the side of my Apevia X-Trooper?

If it's on the side panel window then it should mount just fine. However, mounting this particular build of fan on either the front or top or anywhere else for that matter prbly wont work out for you do to its multiple mounting holes that add more bulk and supposed versatility than necessary. that being said this is one of the if not the best 200 mm case fan you can get. Been using mine for a few years now and it keeps great positive internal pressure and the peripherals of my gpus very cool with little to no noise at a high flow rate.

I have a cool master trooper case and am wondering if this will fit on the bottom of my case?

Accepted Answer

Width will fit, but that doesn't guarantee the holes will line up. More to the point, the actual volumetric flow you can pull will be minimal, due to the proximity of the case to a surface, whether a floor or on a desk.

Outside of suspending it in a rack cage where you could vent inwardly to create a push pull I doubt you'll see real benefits by it. You also run the risk of creating a stagnant zone from the front where you're colliding your pull from the front to hit the pull from the bottom.

My rig: Corsair 650D has the BitFenix 200mm mounted to pull in from the front, an H100i dual liquid unit to pull out of the case from the top and a 120mm static fan out the top back panel, leaving a passive zone underneath the front bottom, and the RM1000 Power Supply back mounted on the bottom for power fan to dissipate quietly out the bottom fo the case.

Will this fit the front 200mm fan slot in a Corsair CC600TWM-WHT Special Edition Graphite Series 600T Mid Tower?

Yes. Compare the Corsair 600T to the Corsair 650D. My 650D worked perfectly. Ironically, the included screws blow but luckily the Corsair screws included with your Case work perfectly.

Note: You must pull out your rack of disk mounts (couple screws) to give the 25mm thick fan easy access for the Fan to slide in. It only took the bottom cage of disk mounts to slide out.
