As far as the battery goes it lasts surprisingly long. Compared to my Acer Aspire it lasts several hours longer. I also have compared it to an Alienware 15 and it seems the Predator seems to last longer. Wish I could give you more precise numbers but I sent the computer back as I could not use the two harddrives in raid config. It is really a great computer. Wish I could have kept it.
