White = yellow

Pros: Big screen; the curve is nice once you get used to it.

Cons: I unfortunately use this monitor in a four-monitor setup; the other three (to the left, right and above) are Samsung S27D360s. I say "unfortunate" because the white color (like the background of Newegg listings) are indeed white on the Samsungs, but on this Acer all I get is a dingy yellowish white. I suppose if I only had the Acer I wouldn't be so aware of it, but with the constant comparison of the Samsungs, I'm really disappointed at how poor the brightness is on the Acer. And yes, I've been through all the settings, but nothing improves the yellowishness of "white" on my Acer.

It's really bad if I happen to overlap a window between a Samsung and the Acer. In addition to making the "white" on the Acer look so dingy, it even has a noticeable effect on pictures and other colored windows.

The good the bad and the ugly

Pros: Bright. Nice color. Great screen for visual impact and speed. I did notice it was easy to get headshots at 200hz. The curve seems not only to make the immersive wrap around effect but some how makes depth a bit more convincing. Has a few RGB leds. Pretty nice in movies. Generally looks pretty mackin' on the desk.

Cons: The stand could be nicer but I do appreciate the alu that is there. The backlighting is very non uniform but I guess that will be a trend with any screen that isn't micro LED or OLED with a curve... though not very often mentioned.
It really does ghost even on 200hz with display port... Honestly not that I notice in games so much but sometimes just surfing... one semi common occurance is scrolling down on a high contrast image... Eye pupils will ghost making a creepy black streak.

Overall Review: How about making 3 x 256 pt color selection in menu for rgb for static color choices instead of a few colors?
Hey I'm Matt... I may update this later... but why the monitor won't be purchasable for long I'm sure.

Extremely Happy After the second day I recieved it.

Pros: - Over clock to 200hz

Cons: -Not really anything so far that seems to bother me

Overall Review: The first day there was obvious ghosting when playing FPS games. It was so bad to the point where I felt like repacking it to get a refund, but I decided to just play some League of Legends and it was fine. The next day I decided to play some CSGO and the ghosting was just gone. It was clearly there the first day but now it's just gone completely.

Good Monitor

Pros: 2k at 1080p
Large Space to work with

Cons: Aspect Ratio bad for streaming 21:9 does not work well with down scale to 1920x1080 at 16:9

Overall Review: This monitor is amazing , 144hz good for almost all gaming cept FPS , the response time is a tad slow and my con that I mentioned above is that if you want to start streaming, its nice to play on 2k with 2160x1080 21:9 but unable to get the picture to look good since most services downscale to 1080p 60fps. My next option was just to go up to 1440 or 4k with a lower response time. Still amazing monitor for the price and options it gives.

I LOVE this monitor

Pros: Beautiful display, has USB, good sound and it's great for gaming

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: I been searching for a gaming monitor for a while and when I saw this on sale I jumped on it and I am glad I did. I purchased 2, 1 for me and one for my wife and we love gaming on it. I play a lot of sea of thieves and now I have more screen on my left and right. It's a beautiful display, make sure you use the right cable to get the 144mhz speed.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS, rating based on the price paid

Pros: DON"T PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS! I Think they're comparing it to monitors that are $1000

I have to be realistic here people. I was so worried about this because of the mediocre reviews, but since the price was soooo good i took the leap and went ahead even though i really could not afford it at the time. $350 plus tax... on a 24 hr flash sale... YEAAH I'll take one! ($450 or lower, this thing is worth it. over that I'd get one of the 34" LG's on sale)

Ok so here's the deal, It isn't the best panel, or the most vibrant color spectrum, response time isn't that great, but I wasn't expecting it to be the same as the AlienWare $1200 model that is the same size and looks similar. previously I had a dual monitor setup with one 27" Acer, and 27" AOC, and the AOC looked Soooo much better. Basically the the IPS panels that Acer uses are on the Cheap side.

Pros I wasn't expecting:
-The base and neck of the monitor are phenomenal! You just grab the screen on both sides and you can slide the monitor all the way to the top or all the way to the desk, as well as adjust the angle much more than average monitor setup.
-It has soooo many I/O options. Usually there is only about 2 good inputs, this one has way more and they're located in a really good spot directly underneath.
-all kinds of USB 3.0's on the back. This monitor has more I/O options than ANY other monitor I've ever used.
-Gaming mode gives you the option of putting a target on the center of the screen so it's easier to hip-fire on games like Black Ops 4, and other FPS. not a big deal but worth noting.
-Lighting effects. It has adjustable RGB passive light. I have it cycling colors and in the Breathing mode. Glows from the bottom
-Packaging was really STOUT so it's got a better chance of getting to you without being damaged. BTW this thing is super heavy, but usually when it comes to electronics the heavier the better (as far as component quality)

Cons: Panel isn't great, but at it's price point it's not bad

Xz350cu

Pros: Down

Cons: Down

Overall Review: Hey.
I get the box and on the box there is a 200 Hz logo. I open the monitor and find out it's a200 Hz monitor. Is it the same model I pay for?
