this has full size pci slots correct? not low profile ones?

Accepted Answer

Yes. this has full-sized SLOTS but it may not accommodate full sized CARDS -- especially modern graphics cards. There is about 3/4 of an inch clearance above the top of the PCI cutoust. Take into account any additional card height in your build as well as any clearance you may need for power connectors.

Question 2

Can the filter door be permanently removed without modding the case?

Yes there is a grill behind the door and filter the case would then be flush across the face. I dont remember, but I think the door hinge is just tabs on the bottom. So, unscrew the filter door open down and the door falls off.

Question 3

What rails fit this case?  I didn't realize they were not included (my fault) but I need to mount the case into a rack and need to purchase the rails asap

It's possible that rails could be attached, but we're not using any, and I'm not sure that it was designed to have rails.  You can use the brackets on the front to mount it.  As long as you don't put 100 pounds of hardware into the back of the case, I don't think you'll run into any problems with torque on the bracket.  If you really want to, you could put a shelf underneath it to hold it up.

Question 4

What is the maximum power supply depth this case can accommodate? Will the SeaSonic Platinum Series SS-400FL2 at a depth of 6.3 inches fit?

It really depends on the depth of any 5.25 bay accessories. You have the entire depth of the case to share between your power supply (plus cables) and your bays.
