That's a very good question, we had been wondering that too :) ... It does have the RJ 45 input port, so you don't have to use wireless exclusively for networking.

does anyone know why newegg has 2 asus b400 a ultrabooks available. One sells for $899.99 and one sells for $759.99?

This computer was priced $759.99 for St. Patrick's promo which ran from March 13 thru the 19th, hence after the promo date expired the price changed to $899.99. I thought this was a great deal so I bought it on the 16th.

Is Windows 7 Pro preloaded, or Windows 8 preloaded but downgradable to Windows 7? Does it come with Windows disk? Is the screen anti-glare Matte? Is it 256GB SSD or HDD? Thanks.

- No Windows 7 recovery disk but has a disk with Windows 7 drivers for the laptop
- screen is anti-glare matte
- it is 256GB SSD

No RAM upgrading for the ultrabooks as a whole. This saves space. Not sure about the Windows upgrade. Would not recommend Win 8 without a touch screen.

We actually called ASUS and their official position is that it is Not user replaceable. However, just as with the classic iPod or MacBook Air, it is likely possible if done carefully.
