The best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website. With many of our products you can click on the "Warranty & Returns" tab and you will find the Manufacturer's contact info, including the manufacturer's website. This particular headset is not wireless, and connects over a 3.5mm headphone jack.

are these 7.1 like the pro or the only difference is the USB?

These are not USB, so there will be no sound card built in. You will be using your onboard sound or sound card.  Utilizing your speaker and mic jack
