Can someone who has the laptop check the screen resolution? It should tell you what the screen model is on there or at least that is what is stated on the Acer V15 nitro screen resolution display options (Acer uses Sharp LQ156D1JW04 when I checked).

This is a great laptop from my experience. The only downfall is that the video card cant really run 4k so videos jump and games (ah no). Run your games at 1080 and she will sing like an angel. 30FPS average

Dang I wish I got the back pack, but yes its still come with the mouse and headset + the other mouse and back pack. Well atleast mine came with the 2 mouse's. Backpack wasn't available when I placed my order.

Its a solid micro thin box. I don't even think you could fit a conventional HDD inside. So no.

I'm not too familiar with Thunderbolt but you say I can somehow hook up 6 devices to it. Would that mean it could handle being hooked up for example to some high speed external SATA HD interface and an Asus PB287Q 4K monitor simultaneously?

Q: How is the battery life with normal use? Not hard core gaming all day.

I can attest to what Joshua said. I run Ubuntu without nvidia-prime or optimus, so I am never using the 'low power' Intel display adapter. Despite this, the worst battery life I've seen is ~4.5 hours for for Workstation-type use, and 2.5 - 3 hours for something graphics or processor intensive.

The ASUS/ROG symbol on the back of the laptop is not lit.  The laptop touchpad is not lit either, but does have a high contrast outline around it which picks up lighting from the illuminated keyboard nicely.

Those sub-model codes are not set by Asus.

There are 2x4gb fixed memory on the board and a single ram slot, which came with an 8gb stick install on mine for a total of 16gb. I believe this is the maximum configuration (unless you have a model with the expansion slot empty or occupied by <8gb).
