Yes, there is. The speaker is surprisingly good for a monitor speaker. I would recommend getting external speakers, but they are decent.

Yes you can, though I would recommend using external speakers or headphones using the monitor's 3.5mm audio out jack.

I was about to ask the same thing but realized it had already been asked three times..
I googled and the refresh rate is 60hz.. definitely not considering this monitor anymore.
If you want the 1ms with 144hz look in to this monitor I just found LG 24GM77.
