Yes, this is the standard USB 3.0 Micro B male connector, which is the connector used for any of the Western Digital My Passport Ultra 500GB, 1TB and 2TB models.  (All of which support USB 3.0, and use the Micro B connector.)  So this is effectively the same cable that came with the drive originally, except that the Western Digital-supplied cable was 12" long rather than 6".

Hello, I was wondering if you have one these cables that can connect one side to a Ipad/Tablet and the other side to a Samsung galaxy 5 phone? This wire is good for my laptop or pc, but I need a universal one.

Hey Doris, unfortunitly no, you cannot connect a Galaxy to an ipad, or almost any other tablet with this. 
It may be possible with this and another adapter that adds a USB Port to a ipad, but I have never tried that. AFAIK there's nothing that will connect the two directly, depending on what you need to do you might be able to move files via bluetooth, or get two seperate adapters that read SD cards and move data that way, or get a USB OTG (On The Go) drive to read/write data to the Galaxy, and then an adapter on the ipad so you can use the full sized usb end of the OTG drive to connect it to the ipad.
