where is the power button?

The power button is located in the upper left hand corner of the front of the box. It doesn't really push like a button does, but that's it.

Question 2

For the USB 3.0 ports on the front, is the lead still a pass through connector that I'd need to route to the back or did they change it to a motherboard header that can just be plugged into the board?

The desired setup would be to connect the two USB 3.0 cables from the front panel to the motherboard.  I don't think the cables are long enough to do what you suggest by connecting to a rear panel.  I installed an ASUS Z87 Pro motherboard which has the 20-pin header for connecting USB-3.0 from a front panel.  So I purchased from Newegg an adaptor to do that.  I used the "Koutech IO-UU230 USB 3.0 20-Pin ICC to Dual Type-A Adapter" and it works fine.  I tested for speed to make sure.  Hope this has helped.

Is the ssd cage removable?

There is not a SSD cage per say.  The hard drive cages have the tool-less housing units that you can slide in and out, the support 3.5 and 2.5 inch drives.  The hard drive cages, YES, can be removed, but the only place to place your drives then would be 5.25 DVD drive bays, which you'd need some type of adapter to seat hard drives there.

Can you replace the one 200mm fan in the front, with 2 140mm fans?

Yes, I've done it with my case. It allows for better airflow. My upper fan blows air to my graphics card and the lower fan blows air over my hard drive bay(s).

Will the top HDD/SSD dock door close completly with a 3.5 HDD still docked, or would you have to remove the drive?

The drive needs to be disconnected if you want to close the sliding panel.

ork with Intel Core i7-496x 6 core processor?

It really depends on the motherboard you put into it. I don't know much about the newer Haswell CPUs, but any Z87 ATX motherboard should do the trick. Just make sure to get a dual usb3 to usb3 motherboard header since the front usb3 ports are a bit dated and need the correct header to connect to newer motherboards. Alternatively you could run the front panel usb3 cables out the back of the case and into the motherboard usb3 headers, although I wouldn't recomend it. Be sure to get adequate cooling, remember that this case cab hold a radiator if you wanted to do liquid cooling. If you don't feel like doing custom liquid cooling a post-market liquid cpu cooler should do the trick, just don't go more than 240mm for the radiator.

Would this comfortably fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo?

I just got out my ruler and measured.  You have at most 6.5" from the cpu to to the side panel.  According to the schematic of the cooler, it should fit, but man will it be tight.  You'll have a 1/4" or less gap between the cooler and and the side panel.  Any chance of getting an enclosed liquid cooling solution? This case of tons of room for a radiator.

Can the side door that opens be changed out for one with a bigger window?

Do you really need a bigger window? I think the current one gives a pretty good view of everything you would be looking at inside the case (ie. cpu, RAM, GPU, and MB) - is there anything specific that you want to see that you don't think you would be able to?

Personally, I don't think the window can be made any bigger because of where the latches are located (if you look at the picture you can see that they're pretty much as close as possible to the window). The only thing you could do would be to extend it right farther and all thats going to show is the hd cage which usually isn't what people want anyway.

FWIW, I love this case and think it was worth every $. If your concerned about not being able to see all your hardware because of the window, don't be. Realize how big the case is relative to a typical mid-tower; for reference, the window is almost as big as the entire side panel for my antec 300

Is the corsair hydro series h110 liquid cooler compatible with this case?

Yes, it should seeing as the top mount where the 200mm fan originally was is compatible with dual 140mm fans, it should fit the form of the 280mm radiator of the h110. However, if you are buying now, then I could also suggest a dual 120mm or 240mm radiator since it would also fit and be more compatable with other builds you may have later where a dual 140mm or 280mm radiator wouldn't be be as compatible with most other cases.

Does any one know if the h100i will fit in this case or have put it in this case?

The H100i fits no problem in the Corsair 650D, I too currently have it in my rig.
