Question 1

I have the Sound Blaster Zx in my PC, I show someone had the ZxR model, will this work with mine as well? Also what type of cables will I be looking at since the pictures do not show them

This is a plug and play using the audio cables that come with the set.  If you have a sound card, you should have no problem.  The only drawback I have experienced is that the speaker connections are not as long as I would have liked for the speaker set up I wanted in my office, but I was able to make it work.  Happy with the sound.  Replaced a high end Altec Lansing system that blew a fuse and was not worth the cost to repair.  Hope this helps.

Are these speakers compatible with an acer laptop?

I don't think so. They require a special 5.1 sound card that I had to purchase separately and install in my PC. Unless your laptop has expansion slots (Most don't) then they would not work.

What is the Wattage for the Satellite speakers as well as the Sub woofer?

Subwoofer: 12 Watts RMS per channel
