Good for Xbox One?

I was looking for an Xbox One compatible External drive that had at least 7200 RPM, 2TB or more for  a good value.  Wanted to make sure this had faster loading times than the internal speed of the 500 gig Xbox One.  Not sure about this brand for reliability.

Yes this works for xb1. Thats what i use it for, while the load times are somewhat faster, its not that big of a difference from the stock hhd. If u really want load times to go down, invest in a solid state HD with usb 3.0 and just put it in a case of some sort.  On a side note, i have been using this Hd for over a year with no problems what so ever. I definitely recomend this to anyone looking upgrade space.

Question 2

Does anyone know what the difference is between the GF3B4000UP and the GF3B4000U? I am guessing it is rotation speed or cache but I can't find it anywhere I search.

The regular model (GF3B4000U) features either 5200 or 5700 RPM whereas the Pro model (GF3B4000UP, with the P) features 7200 RPM. This is not clearly documented anywhere, but I contacted them directly when I was in the market for one of these for my Xbox One and I ended up with the Pro model.

The only evidence I can supply you is if you go to their official website and look at the hard drive names, GF3B4000U just says "G-Force3 USB 3.0 Aluminum External Hard Drive" and GF3B4000UP says "G-Force3 Pro USB 3.0 7200 rpm Aluminum External Hard Drive". Hard drive manufacturers like to boast 7200 RPM whenever possible since it is usually considered an upgrade over 5200 or 5700 so if the non-pro model were 7200, I assure you they would be flaunting it in the name like they do with the pro.

Would this work as an external for Xbox One and dose this come with the usb 3 cord?
