Does this headset allow for the microphone to be detached?

To the best of my knowledge, the microphone cannot be detached. However, there is a mute switch on the side of the volume control (attached part-way down the cord).

Additionally, the mic can be rotated along the side of the headset about 120 degrees (farthest back is straight up)

Question 2

Does anyone know how to get drivers for these? The manufacturer's program "Hera" does not support this headset.

Hera has some issues for sure, just make sure you get the most up-to-date version and it may or may not pick it up XD email gamdias if it doesn't. Hope that helps
