As long as your monitor has an 3.5 mm output jack, and that your sound is already being routed to your monitor (I'm assuming that your monitor has a built-in speaker?). If so, then plugging these speakers in should bypass the built-in. Otherwise, you're going to have plug into the sound output on your PC chassis.
