Yes, it uses GPS to stabilize and hover in place. It also has a follow me feature.

1. Does this accommodate a Hero7? 2. Would you really need a gimbal if you put a Hero7 on this drone?

1. This drone will not accommodate a hero 7 unfortunitly.

2. I was able to create with gopro attachments a some what of a boom from the middle of drone to where the factory camera was located to keep the weight ratio some what correct and it flew great.

3. Unfortunitly i was unable to view the video after this flight do to the fact the gps went crazy with the drone and it flew out in the middle of the lake and crashed. Was unable to retrieve the drone and gopro.

My 2 cents i would not waste the time with this drone it is a good drone. Support was great i was able to retrieve my full refund for the drone not the gopro unfortunitly wasent to happy about that. I would recommend spending the extra money for dji spark or a mavric air

This drone uses a 7.4v (2S) lithium Ion battery pack rated around 2,500mAh. It charges using a USB charger, however the wall wart is not included but any adapter provided by a cellphone will work. 2 amps recommended for the fastest charging.
