How much clearance does the bottom of the clamp require from the back of my desk? Would about 2 inches work?

Do you mean between the back of your desk and the wall behind your desk? If so, yes 2 inches will be fine. If you mean underneath the bottom of your desk, no it won't work. You'll need about 8-10 inches depending on how thick your desk is for the clamps.

Can the height be adjusted?

Yes it can, the horizonal bar can be moved up and down the horizontal mount bar, there are different holes on the horizontal bar to put a set screw into, so they are some what predetermined set heights.

Question 3

I can't tell from the pics, does this mount require all 3 monitors to be the same alignment, or can I move the outer 2 in a u shape so to speak?

The bar that holds the monitors is curved, it angles the two outer monitors in slightly to face you. You can also turn the monitors inward or outward, but only to a small extent because the bar is in the way of getting any kind of extreme angle like a "U" shape.

I find the curve of the main bar and the angle that the monitors will move to be just about perfect for the 3 22" monitors that I am using this with.

Can I mount a 27" monitor in the middle and 2 24" monitors on the side?

I had this monitor for a few years and loved it, was rock solid. To answer your question I'm not 100% sure as I had 3 x 24" monitors on it.

However, with 3 x 24" monitors on it I still had a little room to slide each end monitor a little further down before being out of room. My gut would say that it will probably work but its just my estimation.

will this stand support 3 27'' monitors in landscape?

Inland changed their design, and went to something a lot cheaper, which means the stand won't support what they say.  The old design was heavy duty and built a lot beefier than the new design.  the outside monitors sag on the new design (based on our experience), and we were only using 23" monitors.  I highly recommend the old design, but not the new one.  So far, I've been unable to find where to find the old style (15" - 27" monitors), only the new one (14"-27" monitors).  Realistically, it will support those monitors, but you may experience the same outer monitor sag we experienced.  Hope this helps!

Does the swivel feature of this stand allows you to turn a monitor from landscape to portrait?

The two side monitors can be turned to portrait, but you'd would have to mount the middle display in a fixed position.

Will this support three 24inch monitors with all three mounted in landscape view?

I have three monitors, two 24'' and one 27'', all in landscape. It's no problem. The product supports 3 screens at 27'' each. It's a great piece of gear.

Measuring it on my desk fully assembled, it's about:

56" wide
18" tall
8" deep

This is for the stand itself. Monitors will stick out a bit beyond these measurements in all 3 axis, but it depends on what monitor you use.

What's the maximum angle you can have the outer monitors at compared to the middle one? I have 3x 24" screens and would prefer a 30 degree inward angle if possible.

I dont think it will angle 30, but with 3 24 inch monitors, I am sure they will line up nicely.

Do the mounted monitors have to have a special clamp on the back to attach to this?

No, they just need to have VESA mount holes in the back.  They will be in a square pattern on the back of the monitor, probably centered.
