how do you mount a PCI card in this chassis, my 90 adapter is too short?

You get the appropriate cable. It can sometimes be difficult to find but, don't bother with hard PCB adapters they are more of a pain to deal with than using an extension/ riser cable. PCI and PCI-E cables  (in all varieties from 1x to 16x ) are available on the open market. Get the shortest cable you can find to get the job done since, obviously, space in a 1u case is limited

This is a 1U case. Meaning it is not a standard height to fit a standard I/O shield.  You will need to either modify the I/O shield or get one from the motherboard manufacture for a 1U case.  The Width is a standard width. The height is less than 1.75".  I would recommend contacting the motherboard manufacture and make sure they have a 1U size I/O shield.  Some manufactures do.  Or just leave it out.  Or go to a 2U rack size case which is standard size.
