I'm looking for a cable to use with my external battery pack which has a maximum current of 2100mA. Will this cable carry a current anywhere near that? I see it can transfer 480 mbps but that doesn't mean much to me about its charging power

I use it to charge my cell phone. It works, but there is definitely some current drop. I don't know exactly how much the current drop is though.
