My computer monitor and my video card both have an HDMI port on them. Will this cable work ?

I think people need to reconsider the above answers.  If the monitor and graphics card requires HDMI 2.0a, then this cable may not work.  Someone mentioned in another answer that this is not HDCP 2.2 compliant which means that it must only be HDMI 2.0.

It's really confusing but when companies state that it's HDMI 2.0, it can mean it's either HDMI 2.0, 2.0a, or 2.0b.  You have to ask specifically what it is.  HDMI 2.0a means that it's definitely HDCP 2.2.  If it's only HDMI 2.0, some cable are HDCP 2.2 compliant and others are not.

Not exactly. You would need to have an adapter that can be received by the phone. You could get this cable and a Samsung Micro USB to HDMI MHL 2.0 HDTV Converter for Galaxy S4/SIII/Note II and you would be able to connect your note 2 to the tv.

Will this fit an xbox 360? Also, is this a universal cord for all laptops or should I buy one specific to each. I have a Toshiba Satellite and a gateway netbook.

If you're laptops have an HDMI output then you're good, HDMI is universal, except for some small ports they put on phones and cameras. It will also work for your 360.
