Says it works with Windows XP and Vista.  Will it also work with Windows 7 or 8?

Works fine with Win 7.  Compatible with almost all my games.  Even if a particular game profile isn't included with the board, I can create the profile myself. Also, display features are cool in addition to being useful.  Enjoy.

Do you have to program every game you own, or does this pad just pick keys to assign an action to?

It recognizes most games.  You can customize any of the settings.  Not only doi use it for gaming but for graphic design.  Because you have multi profiles the possibilities are almost endless.

Question 3

Wanting to buy one, just started MMOs currently play Rift and FF14. Can joystick replace A,S,W,D easily? Also, is it compatible with those games?

I don't play either of the games you mentioned, but you can configure this thing to play any game I think. I mean you can even configure it to work with Word, Excell or Chrome if you wanted to. The joy stick works well, but it will take an hour or so to get used to it, at least that's how long it took me. I'm a World of Warcraft player and I'm lost without it.

Question 5

Can you use multiple-key key combinations simultaneously?

i.e. Can you set G22 key as Left ALT and use it with a different key to make ALT+X combo?

You can't do that on Razor.

I just tested it out twice.  From what I can tell, yes.  I changed my F22 key to Alt/LALT (LALT is a pre-programmed command) and used "Alt+TAB" to cycle through my programs I have running in windows.  I did not test this in-game but I assume it will work.  I'm not sure I have a game that uses "Alt".  Does this answer your question?  If not I can try some more combos for you?

I'm looking to buy this as a means of executing AutoCAD commands faster and more efficiently at work. I do NOT have administrator access on the computer I work on, can I use this without installing any program on the computer?

You can get the software on the computer at home, make a profile and save it to the g13. And it will work on any computer.

Question 7

It seems it can work for up to Windows 8.1, but what about Windows 10?

Yes, the G13 gets full support under windows 10, as any classic should ??

Can you program function keys into these keys... For example, can we program F1 thru F12 into this pad?  I ask because I could really use this if it does!

You certainly can! It's got a great hotkey UI that's built into the software, and you can make it any color you want to-boot. It's a fantastic little product. I'm happy with it. Great for FPS, but personally I got it for MMOs, which I rarely play currently. Still a good birthday gift to myself.

I'm getting this mostly for MMO's and from time to time I'll play CS: GO. Would this work with CS: GO and if so would you feel this would be better to use over the keyboard?

What are the initials for? I use this controller almost exclusively for games and once you figure out the programming interface its great. For guild wars 2 I use mouse r hand and G13 L hand.

How well does this work in FPS with the joystick replacing the wasd? And is it smooth? with the steam controller emulating wasd makes it very jerky when trying to go slow and diagonal as it emulates pressing the keys very fast.

It works very well, and is smooth, but there is a period where you have to "break it in". The buttons and joystick are pretty stiff out of the box. I have had mine for a little over a year and I still love it. I have played games like Call of duty Advance Warfare, World of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm.
