how long is the wire??? why cant you people put pertinent info here ?? I shouldn't have to ask?!!! and in STANDARD not METRIC please!???

I will tell you, though you might do well to learn to find information for yourself. You might also do well to understand that metric is more standardized than imperial measurement. The US has sadly clung to imperial despite its nonsensical structure. Now then, Logitech site says its 2 meters. If you can't use Google to convert that, then you'd be happy to know that Logitech also says it's 6.5 feet. If you are unable to further convert, that's 6 feet, 6 inches. Or maybe you need it in just inches. That's 78 inches. Your lack of information is no one else's responsibility, Steven.
