only if you are wearing it around your neck purely for the microphone, otherwise unless you have the sound turned up loud enough to have your ears bleed (which it can be made deafeningly loud) you shouldn't have a problem, the noise canceling works great.

I need to know if the part that allows you to extend the size of the headset is metal, or it the pieces are made of plastic? I have been through 3 headsets of the same brand in the last years because when i extend the size to fit my fatass head, the pieces give out over time because its made of plastic

The head band is made of plastic. I've had my pair for 2 years or so and haven't experienced any failures, even after suffering a few drops. What I don't like about the adjustable strap is that you have to be careful when removing the headphones if you don't want the headband to slide across the notches into a different position. Overall, if you take good care of these headphones you shouldn't have any issues. I will add if you have a big head, these can adjust very big. I don't have a small head by any means and I gotta have the straps snugged up pretty good.
