Are these speakers compatible with a Bose radio?

They plug into an ordinary headphone/line out jack. If your radio has a plug for headphones, then yes. If it has an RCA out (red and white plugs like for TVs, DVD players and such), you can get an adaptor for a couple bucks on this site as well.

i do not see in description or specs what is the frequency response of these speakers? please let me know?

I can't give exact numbers, but my experience is its OK on the high end, but limited down low. If you want decent bass response you need bigger speakers. At home, I have a pair of Edifier e10s that I highly recommend for music.
