Do these speakers have the ability to connect directly to an iPod?

The speakers use a 3.5 mm plug, if the iPod uses this then it should work. The 3.5 mm plug is the same size as the typical ear buds. I don't have an iPod, so I can't be 100% sure. Keep in mind the speakers need to be plugged in to a power outlet too.
