How comfortable is this bag to use for school?

Would not recommended for school if you have alot of weight to carry around. The strap will start to cut into the shoulder. I use my bag for work, I have a small laptop that doesn't weigh much with assorted chargers and tablet and I'm good walking around for 2-3 hours. But I brought this bag last year to a gaming convention with my gaming laptop, after an hour I had to leave my laptop at the hotel cause the shoulder strap was killing me. That was like 12 pounds.
