I have an adapter for my lap top already which allows me to go hdmi to hdmi just needed longer cord will thids work and how long a cord before signal degradation?

I attached the 15' cable to my Acer Aspire laptop and Acer 32" LCD TV and ran a couple of Netflix movies. Picture was perfect and shap as one could ask for. Sound was also great even with the small speakers in the tv. Digital signals generally don't degrade in the cable.
