Are the handles and rack ears removable?

The entire case is held together with small screws. The handles and ears are removable, i have done it myself and it was not difficult at all

Can this be reconfigured to hold 3x 120mm fans up front?

Accepted Answer

There are no issues with installing three front 120mm x 25mm fans other than that you have to do all the work yourself. Whereas the OEM pair of 120mm no-name fans the unit ships with feature pre-punched/tapped mounting points for the mounting bolts to bite into, there are no like mounting points for a triple fan setup. It't easy enough to carefully drill four mounting holes per fan (I used Noctua PWMs) and countersink them slightly to fit the standard case screws.

To get there, remove eight tiny screws on the front top and bottom edges and the mounting plate + fans and fascia will pop out.

Is the power supply included?

No. Case only. It does come with a nice box of screws and parts, but that is it. Case, front fans, and the box of brackets for the drives and screws. Love the case for my use as a FreeNAS server.

Question 4

Has anyone figured out how to remove the drive cage so that I can replace the fans?

I had to basically take the front of the case a part.  I took the little screws on one side near the front off then flexed the case a little wider than normal to pull it out.  Might be an easier way but I couldn't figure it out.

Will an Extended ATX motherboard fit in this? Specifically one that is 12" x 13" ?

Yep! EEB fits and mount points are adjustable.

Will a large CPU heat sink (160mm tall) fit in this case?

For anyone wondering, there is only about 145-150mm of space for a large heatsink. Anything above 150mm will touch the cover.

Will this case accommodate a graphics card 9.5 inches long?

I'm building this at the moment so it was easy for me to measure if a 9.50 graphic card will fit. It won't fit.  It's about 1.55 to long.  I bought this case with the same concern but figured I would cut an opening in the hinged drive bay if push came to shove.  not an easy task for the average person meaning a plasma cutter, band saw or maybe even a hand held jig saw would be required.

Question 8

Can this fit a standard sized ATX power supply? Also, would an ATX board with big heat spreaders on the ram have trouble fitting under the drive bays?

For anyone that wonders, a standard or even a larger ATX psu (900+W) will fit perfectly fine in the case. With a standard ATX board, the memory modules will have plenty of room, even with heatsink. For longer motherboards, there is a good amount of clearance underneath the rotating hdd cage.
