Question 1

The specs say it has a gigabit LAN, but I don't see an ethernet port in any of the pictures.  Does this just mean it comes with a USB3 to ethernet adapter?

Definitely no gig lan interface, adapter or otherwise. I have purchased usb3 gig lan adapters that I have speed tested to a full gig a speed so there's that. WiFi radio is incredibly good for a laptop as well.

Does it come with a stylus?

No it does not. But I spoke with numerous reps to verify, and apparently it DOES support windows ink with the Acer ASA630 stylus, but I have not purchased it to test for myself, just going off what the Acer rep said.

Yes it does as a part of Windows 10.  I haven't used it as I'm still getting familiar with Windows 10, but it seems pretty simple.

When you say art pen, do you mean a) an actual stainless steel tipped art pen or b) the stylus based art pens for touch screens?  No to A and as for B, the touch screen is pretty great in being responsive/accurate.

I do not own an art stylus to try, but I will strongly assume it would work with its functionality very dependent on your program/software of choice for doing said drawing.

How can I keep the Acer Nitro Spin 5 keyboard backlit always on? It will turn off by itself every 30 seconds!

Can this Handle Zbrush and Other 3D Software?

zbrush is not dependent on the GPU, only the CPU.The CPU will be fine. This laptop has only 8GB of RAM and most recommend 16GB for zbrush. Also the touch screen with the acer active stylus is not very precise from what I have seen on some review videos. you would be better off buying a Acer Switch 7 black edition when it comes out. while it will have a mx 150 instead of a gtx 1050, it will have 16GB of ram and a wacom certified emr screen. there is also the vaio z canvas and the hp zbook mobile workstation line but they are also very pricey. if you do this professionally then this is not really the solution for you.

How does this NewEgg model compare with the standard model? SP515-51GN-807G. Is it that the NewEgg model adds a backlit keyboard and has a different color?

From what I can tell, yes. Ive seen a video showing the regular model disassembled and have compared it to mine and they look identical. Specs are also identical. For me, the black and red model was a no brainer, but I would buy whichever appeals to you more
