Question 1

Do these have software to control quality and all or does it depend on Windows drivers? Same thing with the Pro set, too?

IF you are using Win 10, then the driver is automatically installed  by the OS. If you use Linux, then the headset has a "driver" available from the download area of the Cougar Website. As with any audio device, your volume, tone control, mic settings are controlled by the "Sound" tab in Win 10 control panel. There you can adjust many, if not all, of your basic settings for best sound and mic quality. This set of headphones is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn, and the audio quality is remarkable for the price point.

Question 2

How do they feel with when you wear glasses with them on? Does it squish the arms of the glasses into your head?

As I wear glasses too, I find them to be a non issue. With or Without, the ears cover my ears enough that it doesn't matter. SOMETIMES, I might put on the head phones OR my glasses funny, then I just fix them. nothing unusual or unique there. Sometimes I'll even take off my glasses to adjust them with the headphones on, and not remove the headphones.   Honestly though, I do usually need to just pop the headphones off the ears and back on like nothing.

These seem nice for us Spectacle Wearers!   ^_^

Having used them this long, my only real complaint is the cord is a bit short. I can plug it into the back of my tower, which is next to my desk and move around for gaming just fine but if I get up and stand, the cord is too short.  BUT when sitting, it's a non issue 100%.

Question 3

Can you hear your voice in the headset when you speak?

Yes and No! The microphone does not noticeably feed your voice to the headphones; but you can still hear yourself speak through the headset cups anyways! But this is because they have to made that way in case of for example: the house is on fire and someone yells at you to get out!

This makes the headphones sound cheap but they are NOT! These are the best full cup headphones I have used since the 70's! The mic on mine sucks; so I use a pro microphone (separate)!

Question 4

Do these have 7.1 surround sound or is it just stereo?

It isn't surround.  Honestly, for the price it's good enough as Stereo!    One day, I'll probably upgrade to surround again once I begin playing games like Battlefield 1 or 4. ;)   The games I've been playing lately have nothing to gain from surround sound.    Rocket League League of Legends, Stardew Valley, etc.   These are beyond mediocre quality.

Question 5

uhhh, question. the warning concern about cancer? whats the deal with that?

Check out articles on California's Prop 65-- they'll give you all the info you need.  Basically, a lot of manufacturers add this label to cover their own hides, though their products do not even come close to an unsafe level of the chemicals in question.

Question 6

Is this compatible with Apple computers?

If your Apple computer has a 3.5mm audio jack and USB port, this will work fine.
