Does this headset have a problem with audio leaking into/out of the mic?
And how would you rate the mic?

By audio leaking out of mic, you mean the sidetone thing, where you can hear yourself speak? If so, no there is no sidetone feature so you will not hear youself while speaking into the mic.
Now, if you are talking about noise-cancellation, where your mic will/will not pick up surrounding sounds based on the setting....then, unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to turn on/or use that somehow since there is no software with the headset. 
In terms of audio quality, this is one of the best audio clarity I have ever heard in a headset. Both mic and speakers are superb. I hear sounds I never heard before even with a dedicated soundcard on a different headset. I cannot imagine how good this headset would be with a dedicated soundcard, since right now I am using it with the USB Dolby sound chip attachment that it comes with.
Comfort is a bit of an issue if you wear glasses like me. If you dont wear it right, your ears will start hurting. But, that can be fixed by stretching the headband.

Does this headset still ship with the accessories such as the traveling case and the extra plugs, etc.?

It probably does, however it is, by far, the worst headset I've owned.  Where the metal wires hook onto the earcups, it is just a plastic sleeve that the wires slip into, so the earcups move up/down freely, which causes the headset to sag on your head, pushing on the tops of your ears and fatiguing your ears and head quickly.  The entire headset basically ends up just hanging on your ears.  It's the dumbest design I've ever seen and Plantronics should be ashamed of themselves.

Question 3

To anyone else who owns these, does the audio that you're hearing leak into your mic input? Mine is doing that and I'm wondering if my set is defective or if that's just all of them, because it pretty much makes them unusable for gaming. Also the audio won't work unless both the mic and headset plugs are plugged in. With the mic cable not plugged in only one ear puts out sound. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues.

I'm having the exact same problem and it's very annoying, I can't just have the headphone plugged in to listen to music on my phone so i have to use the stereo cable but it's too short for my taste. Headset doesn't sound right on my computer unless I plug in the microphone as well.

Does the head phones have Noise-cancelling?

These headphones only have passive noise cancellation, if you are looking for headphones with active noise cancellation these are not for you. The sound is very clear and the earcups do a good job of blocking out background noise. The only hard part is getting to fit and stay on your ears properly.

Do these work with Mac (specifically the surround sound feature)?

There are three different connection types on this model. 
1) Standard Computer audio output jack/Mic input
2) Unified connector, allows full use with a cell phone or PS4 controller, ect.
3) USB connector with built in drivers.

- Options 1 and 2 use standard outputs and so need only your normal audio drivers. So if your computer\music device's internal audio card can output surround sound through it's normal outputs, this will work for you.
- Option 3 uses Plug-N-Play technology built into the USB dongle/sound card. For my Windows 8 machine, everything that was needed was within the hardware. No external drivers needed, and none are provided.

My understanding is that the dongle tells the computer that it is a sound card and that it will accept raw audio through the USB port and convert it for output through the normal headphone plugs and sent to the headset, essentially acting as a second audio card, which is what it is. I personally primarily use this USB connection just to separate speaker output from headphone output to keep game audio separate from music output.

I would assume that is should work the same way on a MAC, but I have no way of testing this, and so cannot say absolutely. Also, I could not locate anything specifically stating that this headset works with USB output from a MAC. I read that the Plantronics 780 only had stereo sound output from a MAC, but nothing specifically for this headset.
