Pros: Price, I was able to pick these up for around 75 dollars elsewhere. Sound is... decent I suppose, and there are a lot of options to customize in the Razer software. Mic is alright, if a bit finicky at times (had problems with it fading in and out).
Cons: Sound is fairly terrible, bass overwhelms the highs and mids, resulting in extremely poor quality, unrealistic sound. I guess this is the Beats age so Razer seemed to just take inspiration from those. Its not surprising though, the hardware in these is bad, 40mm drivers and VIRTUAL (not real) 7.1 surround. They aren't comfortable, now this is going to depend per user. I have a small head, and from what I gathered on these, the clamping force is simply too high. After about 3-4 hours, my ears are in pain everytime no matter how I adjust these. My ears don't entirely fit in the circular ear cups. Why are they circular? I have no idea, but if they changed the shape it would've been better.
Overall Review: I'm a fan of Razer products, I own a Deathadder, a Blackwidow Ultimate, and a Goliathus Control. These all seem to be in Razers field of expertise. Audio though, which is completely different, is clearly not. The sound on these is frankly just bad, muddled, and overloaded with bass and VIRTUALIZED 7.1 surround. The hardware is terrible, even at this price you can get much better. My advice, ignore these stupid "Gaming" headsets and get a pair of headphones from a company that actually KNOWS and has years of experience in ACTUAL AUDIO. Something from Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, Shure, Superluxe, AKG, Beyerdynamic, or Bose will blow these things clear out of the water while costing the same or less. This is the first Razer product I've been disappointed in, and I will never buy another pair of headphones from them again. While I'd be more than happy to purchase another keyboard, mouse, or mousepad if I needed too, this stuff is NOT what Razer does or should be doing.
Pros: Exceptional handling of deep bass and crisp treble Highest quality microphone I've ever seen in a gaming headset. Microphone is also retractable Very light and comfortable Many software customization options Great noise-canceling
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I've gone through many gaming headsets. Most of them are garbage. The ones that aren't usually have great audio at the cost of a horrible microphone. The Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma is the first gaming headset I've come across that has amazing audio, microphone quality, AND style. I'm impressed enough with these headphones to never buy a gaming headset from any other company in the future. 10/10
Pros: Crisp clear audio, TONS of bass, nice design, and extremely comfortable to wear. Audio does NOT get static when turned really loud. -I am a Razer fanboy but I am not going to give a bias review, I'll point out the flaws that I found personally.
Cons: First thing I noticed, there is NOTHING on the threaded cable to adjust the volume of this headset for on-the-fly adaptation, you have to minimize games and manually drag the bar down, or move it up, I felt this is pretty crazy because we're in 2015 and it should be standard on headsets at this price range, especially a GAMING headset. This is strange for me to say because I love EDM / Dubstep.. This headset has too much bass. For music it is great, but I bought this for gaming, and the amount of bass in this headset almost makes it hard to hear foot steps in FPS games, but all of the sound is crystal clear. I only docked 1 egg because it is still a phenomenal headset, and I got it for my wife, not myself, although I spent a few hours gaming on it to give it a proper review. I use the Razer Tiamat 7.1 personally.
Overall Review: This is a great headset choice, and while I think there is too much bass, you might not. You can of course tweak the audio, there is a lot of customization there with the Razer Synapse 2.0 software. All in all, Razer did a great job with this, and I really want to do 5 eggs, but for my personal experience I cannot.
Pros: Multicolor is cool and matches my Naga Epic, audio is loud & clear, very quiet, I'm told my mic sounds better than my previous headset and it is comfortable around my ears.
Cons: No dedicated volume rocker(you have to use keyboard keys), I noticed my ears tend to feel hot lol must be from the leds?, cord nearest to headphones makes noise if rubbing against your shirt and button for mic-on/off is a pain to click.
Overall Review: All in all its a great pair of headphones. Sits nice and snug. Can't wait to get the Chroma-Stealth keyboard and Razer needs to make a case to match! just saying! Major perk, can't hear the wife yelling at me while gaming! :D
Pros: solid sound comfortable weight
Cons: no air flow, which means your ears will get sweaty but thats why its closed ear. its not oval, so if ur ears are big like mine, it will get sore after a while the leather on the ear cups peel INSTANTLY. I used this for literally less than a year and now i have a peeled headset that sits in my closet. Biggest flaw is durability in its leather. the headstrap suffers from the same issues
Pros: Orgasm in your ears. Bass! Those two aside the sound quality is excellent when you set the correct EQ settings (out of the box its flat) Mic isnt the highest quality but is a thousand times better than majority of mics you hear online. Fits my ears perfectly and have gamed for hours without any pain or need to rest
Cons: No real cons yet
Overall Review: For the price you may find better quality headsets but i choose these specifically because of the Bass and im very satisfied.
Pros: The bass is deep that's for sure and that's what I enjoy hearing from audio. Comfy due to the material of the cups and headband. Aesthetically pleasing to look at.
Cons: Can hear the wire rub against anything so that becomes a bit annoying. Definitely not Razer's field of area. Don't get me wrong the headsets are fine, but it's just not there. No oompf. No wow factor in sound quality (besides bass).
Overall Review: For gaming headsets, these are alright for a start in the gaming world, but seriously, if you need more sound and more audio pleasing products, try going to Bose or Senheisser or any other audio 'pro' products. They know what you'll want. I used to rock Senheisser Urbanite but I lost in a camping trip, and they were just so much better than these. Overall pretty nifty, but definitely not the highest of quality Razer's audio team could come with.

Pros: Pros: ear cup design is circumaural (means overear design) total customizability of sound profiles (which actually does something for once) microphone is amazing, best i've ever had, the mute button is a nice feature too pressure on my head is just perfect I have a big head and wear glasses, this is the only headset that allows me to wear my glasses without causing pain. The manual says to lightly stretch the headband and it made the fit PERFECTLY, most of the people who've given a negative review have most likely not setup the headset correctly and are to stupid to know the difference between stereo and virtual 7.1, let alone read the manual. Aaaanyway, use this correctly and you'll love it.
Cons: The sound of the cable is correct, however it's been greatly exaggerated, having owned many high and low end headphone over my gaming years, this is a regular occurrence and really doesn't matter, it's only because of the size of the empty space inside the ear cup that the sound is magnified, still tho not very lound
Overall Review: When I bought this, I was really worried after reading people's reviews, this is an awesome headset, the minor points are very minor by comparison and considering these are alot cheaper than the v-moda 100's I was using before now, plus the comfort of no more glasses pain, I love my new headset :D
