It's about 19" wide, 4" tall, and 2.5" thick.

Do you need to have a sound card in order to use this on your pc?

You don't need a dedicated sound card, if that is what you're asking.  Basically if your computer has a working 3.5mm stereo jack(for speakers) or an spdif output you will be good to go with these speakers.

What is the wiring like with these? How many and from where to what pieces?

1 AUX Cable from back of sound bar unit to wherever you want
1 Digital Audio cable  from back of sound bar unit to wherever you want
1 power cable from back of sound bar to the wall
1 cable connecting the sound bar to the sub

So 4 in total, plus you get NFC w/ compatible devices to connect.

Question 5

How would these fare against a Harman Kardon Soundsticks III set-up? In order of preference, Gaming>Music>Films.

Go with the sound sticks, this product sucks. Has no remote which means you have to get up to change the volume every time. There is no bass adjustment and only three eq settings. I just got the logitech z313 2.1 pc system and its easily twice as loud and twice as clear with better bass. Yes i know that the logitech z313 is a pc system but the point is for the cost you can get a much better speaker system.
