wILL THIS WORK FOR A CHAGING ONLY CABLE FOR POWER? I AM POWERING A AMERA THAT IS MOUNTED IN A SOFFIT.

i suppose you can if it works for fully using a webcam i'd easily assume that it can be used to just power it. But... keep in mind with the length of the cable the power may not be consistent the entire time. that would be the only thing i could think of  that would happen.
