Question 1

How much functionality does this keyboard have with Linux? Specifically, do the USB and mic ports function properly?

I'm running Ubuntu and it works great. The microphone, mic, and USB ports are fine. The media keys work fine at least with Rhythmbox. The built in brightness level keys also work without issue.

If you want to customize the "PF" function keys (I don't) you will need to install the program on a Windows machine - I've not done this myself but the configuration supposedly survives when plugged back into your Linux box.

The only issue I've had is the numlock/capslock lights aren't going on/off correctly - but it hasn't been enough of an issue for me  to even explore it further, not sure if it is a keyboard or OS issue.

Can I use this keyboard with OS X?

Well according to the manual it does not list OS X as a supported Operating System, i don't have any experience with OS X so hard to say what would be required.  It's a simple USB connection, but it only lists Windows as the supported OS.

Hi, The main description shows it as Mx Blue switches but the production description below shows Mx Brown switches. 
Can you clarify what type of switch this keyboard has?

When the main description says, "Rosewill Apollo RK-9100xBBR Blue Backlit Keyboard" the word Blue is referring to the color of the backlighting.  The BBR in the model name refers to "B" for blue leds, and "BR" for Cherry MX Brown Switches.

It is a blue backlight keyboard with MX brown switches.  Best keyboard ever you should definitely purchase it.

What kind of stabilizers does this keyboard use for the shift, enter, and space keys?

Don't know anything about stabilizers and it won't let me post a picture URL but I just used my key remover tool that came with it and it is a long spring the turns 90 degrees goes up about 1 cm then turns 90 degrees again. It also has a dip in the middle where the switch is. (I saw some that had the switch in the middle and 2 more black switches on either side. It is not that one). It feels nice though, no wobble. The whole keyboard is nice. I personally thought it was worth it! Anyway pardon my ignorance and hope it helped
