Will it fit an ASUS X550JK laptop? Screen:15.6" 1920 x 1080 Dimensions: 15.0" x 9.9" x 1.0"-1.2" Some reviewers are saying it does not fit a 15.6" laptop even though the product says it can. This is making me hesitant to purchase.

I have a Sony Vaio Fit 15.5" and it fits w/ room to spare. I use it for that and my xbox one. Plus controllers and cords and a gaming mouse. Plus I take my bottles of tylenol and aleeve and all that too. So it carries alot. The only thing is that with the amount of weight I been using the right shoulder strap looks torn up, even thought it is still working great. So I recommend this bag.

How well padded is the laptop section?

Personally I think this backpack is well padded all over especially in the laptop section. I think the build quality for this back pack is top notch. My only complaint is that the back pack can be a little heavy.
