Does this allow you to pivot the monitors--i.e., turn them 90 degrees to "portrait" orientation rather than the traditional "landscape"?

I installed it initially with the clamp option, which goes on the edge of your desktop, this worked well, but I moved to a new desk that I was able to drill a hole through and mounted it through the hole, this worked even better, very solid and further from the wall behind my desk which gives me more room to configure the arms. I use it with two 24" monitors.

Question 3

I like to have my monitors situated so that one is in front of me with another off to the side and angled inward. For this to work, the post would need to be off center (which is fine), but it also means that the side monitor would need to be brought forward slightly so that the edges line up when angled. So my question is... Do the arms extend far enough to angle in one of the monitors (assuming both monitors are at the max size of 27")? Or are they just long enough to hold two 27" monitors completely parallel to each other?

I am using the dual with two 23 inch monitors and have mine adjusted side by in a  v pattern.   The arms can accommodate a variety of different positions.

Question 4

Would my  VESA Wall Mounting 100x100mm monitors work with this mount? Not entirely sure who the VESA measurements work and want to make sure before I buy one.

As long as your monitor has standard VESA mounts it will fit. It fit my AOC monitors with no problem.

I have a 29in monitor and am thinking about getting a 24in monitor. Would this be able to mount both?

Unable to answer.  You will need to refer to the specs of your current and new monitor,  you will need to look at the vesa mount size and the weight without stand.

Question 6

Can someone post dimensions of the lower and upper arms, specifically want to know the minimum height if the arms are horizontal?

The upper arm is roughly 12" from the first hinge to where it connects to the lower arm. The lower arm is roughly 9.5" from the upper/lower connection point to the base connection point. With a 24" monitor at full height the bottom of the monitor is 8.75" from the surface of the desk. The monitor can be lowered so that the bottom of the monitor is on the desk.

Can these be constantly moved and re-adjusted?  I'd like to use this setup to keep two 23s in front of my ultrawide for internet and video editing, and then move the 23s up and out of the way for gaming time.

They can be constantly adjusted side to side, angle, and up and down.  Based on your description, I'm not sure this will give you clearance to bring your additional monitors in front of from either the sides or the top of another monitor if mounting directly to the desk.  Would probably work if you have a raised section behind the existing monitor to mount to though if you were bringing them in from above.  Keep in mind these are meant for a two monitor setup, so while they adjust in all directions, you may only get a foot or two gap between the monitors when fully separated.

What is the difference between the 16002 and the 16003?

I have the 16002. The only difference I can see is what appears to be a USB hub in the base of the 16003 which is not present on the 16002.
