Does the 21.5" depth include the rack handles? What would the rack to back depth be for this unit. Looking to install inside a Gator Portable rack case.

The front to back distance on my chassis is 21.5" and this does NOT include the handles. Also note that the front panel buttons and knobs that hold on the front access panel protrude about 3/8" past the front panel. I am also looking for a rack mount case....looks like a 24" deep shock-mount case at about $450 (ouch!) is all that I can find that will take this deep chassis. If you find a more cost-effective solution, please post it. Kind regards, James
