The best angle for you depends on how you hold your tablet (or lay it down/prop it up) to use it and whether you are left- or right-handed. If you're wondering if the direction of the cord from the "b" end of the cable will prop up your tablet or cause it to be in your way, that would require your tablet to have a usb receptacle perpendicular to its frame, since the cable angles along the length of the shape of the micro usb end, and not the height (as you can see in the picture). As far as I know, no tablets are designed with the receptacle perpendicular to its frame. In short, it all depends on what will be most comfortable for you. The cable should work, regardless of angle (at least from what I can determine from the detail in the question). Hope this helps...
