Pros: Nice length
Cons: Wire gauge is too small for anything other than an overnight charge. Do a search for 22ga USB if you want to get a 10 foot cable that will allow a fast charge.
Pros: Great Length! Good sustained charge.
Cons: Slow charge rate. Definitely not for quick full charges.
Overall Review: The cord is good for using devices low on charge, like your phone, without feeling strapped to a wall. It also keeps my wireless headset in use when its low on battery, so i can keep talking to my friends.
Don't use the cord if your looking to quickly charge your phone tho, it will take a good 3 hours rather than the typical 1 hour it takes with the standard cord.
Pros: Works well for any micro usb cell phone.
Pros: This is the 4th friggin' brand of MicroUSB cable I've tried. Every single one to date has been loose, so if you're using the cable to push ADB commands to an Android phone or something, you could potentially run into serious problems due to it disconnecting for a second here or there.
Not this bad boy. It has a nice, tight, snug fit. I was able to spin my HTC Rezound around very rapidly with it plugged in while watching to see if it disconnected; nope! I've never purchased a StarTech cable before, so I can't speak to their overall quality; but this cable right here is a great fit and feels well-made. 4th time's the charm I guess, finally found a brand of MicroUSB cable that doesn't give me cancer.
Cons: Umm. It wasn't free?
Overall Review: I'm pleased. :) It's worth paying a few bucks more, I tried 3 other cheaper brands and they're all in a box that is likely about to get tossed.
Pros: Many cables don't grip the microUSB port well, but this cable doesn't have that problem. The connection is pretty solid.
Cons: Charging is very, very, very slow. As that was the primary purpose for me, I'm giving this guy only 2 eggs. Given that the cable is advertised as 28 AWG, I expected better charging. Oh well. At least it was cheap.
Pros: 10 feet long.
Micro end positively locks and stays in place of the device. I use them to charge my cell phone and e-cig while my computer is asleep/off so that I can still use them while they charge (short cables didn't reach enough).
Cable is thick, which makes it seem less likely that an accidental tug will cause a loose connection.
Cons: I went through these often. They do not tolerate abuse well at all. I recommend M0N0PRIC3 premiums, since those cables will last through years of occasional abuse.
Overall Review: Tech knowledge for a USB cable ... (snicker).
Pros: Long cable
Cons: Does not charge
Overall Review: I bought this long cable so that I could charge my phone without being tied to my desk, but I tried different adapters but still could not charge phone. My smartphone does detect the cable and shows the battery icon is "charging", but my battery power % continues to decrease during the "charge"
Pros: Long, well molded connectors, very tight connections, beefy insulation.
Cons: Under certain circumstances, could be the same as the cons. None, really.
Overall Review: I wanted a long cable with a good tight micro USB connector at a reasonable price. I wasn't disappointed. Though, at times, it's almost too long.
