Can this be used outdoors?

I haven't used it outside but any extension cables with the connection exposed to water can short the circuit and trip your breaker. It shouldn't fry the electronics if you have a surge protector connected though. If you're going outside you should just buy one long enough so that the exposed ends are indoors otherwise bring it inside when you're not using it.
