What is the diameter of the barrel connector?

Checked with a cheap digital micrometer. OD is 5.45mm, ID is roughly 2.25-2.99mm, depending on the placement of the micrometer prongs.

can this charge a sony dr bt21g headset?

I don't know, I used them to charge Turtle Beach headsets since they only required a 5 volts.
