Pros: The cable works to switch between USB Micro and USB Mini devices. Great to have 1 less cable to carry around.

Cons: The item's description says "Enables Micro USB and Mini USB devices to connect to a USB port on your laptop or PC Multifunction 2-in-1 cable - Mini USB and Micro USB to USB" To be clear, it is Micro USB OR Mini USB, you cannot connect 2 different devices to a computer. It does seem to charge 2 things at once, but it overloaded my computer's USB surge protector and cuts any data usage to the port until I reboot.

Overall Review: I figured it would only allow 1 device, but my laptop had only 2 USB ports, so I bought this item hoping it would allow me to connect and charge my phone and external laptop and allow me to keep my mouse connected. I didnt want to get a PCMCIA Card since this is a rare use.

Pros: worked well for 9 months

Cons: stopped working after 9 months of light office use

Pros: Convenient, like carrying 2 cables in 1. Although only can use one at a time for data.

Cons: The rubber casing part that connects the cable to the "T" of the two USBs became detached over 4 months of use. It's a common place to go bad on cables. That's why other cables have that area reinforced. Wish this one did too. It's not that bad though, some electric tape or super glue would fix. But it looks bad afterwards.

Overall Review: To split a USB data port, must have USB hub of some kind. To split a USB as power port, this is fine.

Pros: If you have a mixed set of gadgets, this one cable can replace two others. I leave mine at work to make sure I can charge anything.

Cons: If you already have enough cables, adapters will serve the same purpose.
