So i bought this to power some led's from my case without needing their own outlet in my surge protector, and i dident look at the volts, untill now, this is a 5v cord, the led's are 12v, but im only using 2 of the 4, i dont know how volts work, but if im using only half, does that mean its 6 instead of 12, will this cord still power my led's?

I'm assuming that there is some kind of built-in switch that allow you to select 1 thru 4 LEDs, and you are not manually rewiring the circuitry to only enable 2 LEDS? If that is the case, then I can say that you really need a 12v input; 5v from USB won't be sufficient.
