Startech HDMI cable with Ethernet3/25/2021 9:17:39 AM
Pros: Solid construction, thick gauge cable, transmission quality is noticeably superior to standard HDMI. Anything over 50ft normally requires to be converted to SDI or Ethernet and back which requires converters on both ends, this solution for 50ft length in wall is ideal. "This is an active cable which means its directional" "READ LABELS"
Cons: None
Overall Review: Would absolutely recommend for use on any display at 50ft distance.
Overall Review: Great image quality in Blender 3D, streaming video, video conferencing, etc.
Used it between a macbook pro 15" (2015) and a Dell branded Full HD (1920x1200) monitor, and currently using it from a early Intel NUC (small footprint, Haswell CPU) computer with an adapter from micro-HDMI port to receive this cable.
For many months, no issues.
Not using the Ethernet channel of this cable currently, but video signal comes through strong and steady.

Good solid cable7/8/2020 8:09:44 AM
Pros: Cable has little to no loss, and functions exactly as expected. 50 Feet of cable with great response times from end to end. Ends are very solid and lock in well. I have this configured from a source, to HDMI 1 to 4 splitter feeding 2 65inch 4k TVs, 1 28inch monitor and 1 15inch monitor. All of the cables are 50 feet cables (one of the connections is almost 75 feet from source, others are 30+ feet from HDMI splitter.
Cons: There are a few here, but this is to be expected. Cable is semi thick so it does not always lay flat, may need to be taped down if using it in temporary places. The cable is directional, so you have to be sure what end is plugged into source/TV. There are yellow tags attached to cable showing source and TV ends, but if these are removed or come off, there is no other markers. The ends of the cable (and cable itself) are a little heavy, and may need to be set in a way that it will not hang on your HDMI input plug (I just did a wire tie so that the cable itself was not constantly pulling down on the connection point).
Overall Review: If you are looking to stay aware from wireless video delay, This cable does a great job in reaching across rooms.
Overall Review: Great c able if you're only running one.
Manufacturer Response:
We always try to ensure our customers have exceptional experiences with our products and we apologize for the difficulties you're experiencing with our HD2MM15MA. This cable does support HDCP 2.2 but because this cable is active and draws power from the HDMI port on your computer or video source, you may see problems when trying to "daisy-chain" multiples of this cable due to the HDMI port on your computer not being able to provide enough power for multiple cables. If you're trying to go a longer distance, we recommend using an HDMI over Ethernet extender such as our ST121SHD50 or ST121HDBTE.
